Judith Marie Cross, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully on December 10, 2023, surrounded by love in Cleveland, TN. Born on August 23, 1952, in the same welcoming community, Judith's life was a vivid tapestry of dedication to her family and the simple joys of life.
Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucille Horvath, and her sister Joy Cross, Judith's memory will be held in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her legacy continues through her sons, Clinton and Eli Cross; her daughters, Jessica Chambers, Michelle Chambers, and Terri Splitstone; and the light of her life, her 12 grandchildren.
Renowned for her unwavering love for her family, Judith's life was truly a reflection of her heart's priorities. She instilled in her children the values of kindness, perseverance, and love - a legacy that will transcend time. Judith Marie Cross will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will eternally guide her loved ones.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM with the celebration of life service to follow at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. The interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cohutta, GA. Pastor Joe Dail to officiate.
