Judith Deane Obituary
Mrs. Deane enjoyed reading, camping, and caring for her rescue cats. She grew up in College Corner, Indiana. She graduated from Ball State University and received her master's degree from the University of Chicago. Judy later worked for Health and Human Services supporting early childhood development until she retired.
Mrs. Deane was preceded in death by her husband, John Deane and parents, Grover and Naomi Tharp.
Mrs. Deane is survived by her children; Stephen Deane of Oswego, IL and Sarah Dell of Auburn, GA; siblings, Nick Tharp of Indiana, Sally Kaufmann of Georgia, Bess Maule of Pennsylvania, and Charlie Tharp of North Carolina; and six grandchildren, Alex, Samantha, and Calvin Deane, Emily, Arianna, and Dalton Dell.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Judy Deane will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the service hour at Carter Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome for the service.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
