Judith Ganance Obituary
Wednesday February 4, 2026.
She was born on May 12, 1947 and is the daughter of the late Lawrence Ray and Carrie Ray
(Swartout).
Survivors include her son Joseph Ganance III (Christine), beloved daughter, Kimberly Farr
(Michael), brother Roland Ray (Christine), Frank Ray and sister Gloria Irving (Gene). She loved
her grandchildren with all of her heart, Karie and Madison Farr, Lucas and Ciara Ganance and
Olivia Meyers. She left behind several nieces of nephews also.
She is predeceased by the love of her life, Joseph Ganance Jr., her sisters Joan Lynch, Joyce
Brown, Genevieve Smith and her brothers Larry Ray and Charles Ray.
Judy loved her husband, Joe Ganance with all of heart and she also had such a passion for
making her homemade salads that she sold out of her kitchen for more than 30 years. She was
also known as the "salad lady".
Calling hours are at W.C. Brady's Funeral home in Coxsackie on February 12th, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm.
Burial will take place on Friday February 13th, 2026 in Riverside cemetery at 10:00am
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Stroke Association.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew Judy along time. When we were kids I used to go over to her house or she would come over to mine. I have know the whole family for over 60 some years. I remember when we took Judy, Rollie and Frankie ice skating on my uncles pond we had alot of fun...
Again I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
