Judith A. Hackworth

In Loving Memory of Judy Hackworth 1939 - 2012. Judith Hackworth was born on February 17, 1939 to Glenn and Bessie Lane in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At a young age she moved to Dallas where her father got a job in the hotel business. As an only child she was the apple of her parents eyes. She lived in the Beaumont Hotel as a child and enjoyed every minute of it. She married Billy Burns and had a son and daughter. She devoted her life to raising her children. Our best memories were when we were kids, she was always a lot of fun to be around and eventually turned into "memaw". Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was never happier than when she was hanging with them. She is survived by son Greg, daughter Shari, 4 grandsons Michael, Stephen, Jordan and Christopher as well as two great grandsons Michael and Austin. You will truly be missed. Memorial Services will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 12 noon.
