She was born on July 27, 1942, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Dombrowski) Buras.
Judy loved playing the lottery, enjoyed word searches and found enjoyment in creating latch hook rugs. Above all things, Judy loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Susan (Thomas) Welch, Brian (Karla) Hesik and Kevin (Renee) Hesik; grandchildren, Brianna, Cori, Brenden, Sean, Jack, Sabrina, Kaylee and Tyler. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Buras. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Hesik and brother, Robert Buras.
Family will be receiving guests from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Dieterle Memorial Home. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, Oswego, IL followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
