Judith Lee "Judy" Jordan

June 6, 1973-October 13, 2023

SIOUX CITY - Judith Lee "Judy" Jordan, 50, of Sioux City, IA, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on October 13, 2023. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Reverend Kenny Hsu officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation, with the family present, will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 27th at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with a Remembrance Service beginning Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Judy was born June 6th, 1973, in Sioux City, the daughter of Patrick R. Jordan and Sandra I. Jordan. Judy graduated from Riverside High School in 1991. She enjoyed her long-time employment at Minerva's with recent employment at Life Skills in Le Mars. Judy resided at a Hope Haven group home located in Le Mars with her beloved roommates.

Judy's heart was as expansive as the Iowa skies she cherished. Her unwavering love for life, animals, and the vibrant community of Sioux City defined her existence. But above all, her devotion to family was unmatched. Judy's magnetic personality drew people to her like a beacon of light. She knew no strangers, extending her warmth and friendship to everyone she met. Her infectious laughter was a testament to her joyful spirit, and she had a remarkable talent for brightening even the darkest of days.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts: her mother, Sandra Jordan; her sisters, Sonja Ingalls (Curtis Ingalls) of Parker, CO, Mary Jordan (Alex De La O) of Sgt Bluff, IA, and Christa Babers (Termaine Babers) of Murrieta, CA; uncle, Chuck Jordan of Omaha, NE; and eleven nieces and nephews, Tyler, Makayla, Kaelyn, Avery, Evan, Sean, Zandria, Zaiden, Triston, Travin, and Caleigh, and a great niece, Nayeli.

She was preceded in death by Rodney Derochie; father, Patrick Jordan; grandparents, Robert Jordan, and Rose Mary Jordan; and 2 aunts, both know as Judy Jordan.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Ingalls, Alex De La O, Termaine Babers, Tyler Ingalls, Avery Herfel, Triston Babers.

As we bid farewell to Judy, we do so with heavy hearts but also with gratitude for the light she brought into our lives. Her memory will forever be cherished. The family requests donations be made to Hope Haven www.hopehaven.org/give/ in memory of Judy.

I of course, got to know Pat Jordan, then the girls. Judybiswith her Dad now. One of hisclast requests was to watch out for Judy. Then the next thing I gotto see Judy several times here in LeMars, seeing her several times. She knew me, and we would visit. Hope Haven is up on the corner from me so I would see her often. I was shocked and sad to hear of her untimely death. Love , Barbara Steeg
