Judith “Judy” B. Jordan October 13, 1949 – March 24, 2026

Judith “Judy” B. Jordan, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 76. A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Judy was known for her warmth, loyalty, and deep devotion to her family and friends.

Born on October 13, 1949, Judy built a life centered on connection, kindness, and unwavering support for those she loved. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and a loyal friend to countless others. Her sense of humor, generous spirit, and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Judy retired in 2019 after many years of dedicated service as an office manager and payroll specialist at Lazer Tow Company. In retirement, she embraced the things she loved most—traveling, especially her many memorable beach vacations, as well as enjoying game shows, puzzles, and card games. She was also a devoted fan of Survivor.

Above all, Judy cherished her family. She was a proud and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who rarely missed an opportunity to attend and support her grandchildren’s activities. During the last year and a half of her life, she found special joy in helping raise her granddaughter, Judianne, sharing in many of her first moments and modeling what it means to be a loving and dedicated mother.

Judy is survived by her four children: Tommy Jordan (Nicole) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Katie Jordan of Greenwood, Missouri; Kara Quigg (Dave) of Belton, Missouri; and Holly Jordan of Grandview, Missouri. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren—Jackson, Luke, Sam, Drew, Emery, Colton, and Judianne—and her great-granddaughter, Sofia. She also leaves behind her brother, Kelly Doolan of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, half-brother James Hennier and half sister Mary Roesch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Lois Doolan; her sisters, Diane Doolan and Kathy Byers; her brothers, Kevin Doolan and Mickey Doolan and half-sister Michelle Carpenter.

Judy’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering support for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Judy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
