Judith Klopp

Judith A Klopp of Wyckoff, NJ passed away on February 9th after a valiant battle with cancer. She leaves behind Dr David D Klopp, her husband of 52 years. Devoted mother to David D Klopp II of Huntington Beach, CA and Michael A Klopp of Fort Lee, NJ. Loving and doting aunt to Nicole and Troy Messner and their children Gavin and Abigail. Eldest sister to Karen Labouseur of Liberty, NY and Debra Issman of Sarasota, FL.
Mrs. Klopp attended the New School of Social Research in New York City and was a 1963 graduate of Saint Clare's Hospital School of Nursing NYC.
She was a member of the American Nurses Association, a member of the United States Friends of Figure Skating Association, long term member of West Side Presbyterian Church and served for many years on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels in Wyckoff.
Judy was involved in figure skating for the past 35 years. She was a participant of the Fourth Angel Mentoring Program started by Scott Hamilton to provide support to patients undergoing cancer treatments. Judy was fortunate to have attended 2 Winter Olympics and many National and World competitions. Over that time she had made many lasting friendships from her skating experiences.
Her other passion and love was ballet. She and her husband were subscribers to American Ballet Theatre for many years and enjoyed many performances together.
A 25 year cancer survivor, Judy lived strong and loved strong every day of her life and taught others through her actions. She was a warrior who fought every obstacle with strength, dignity, positive thinking, and good humor. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
