Judith Koeller Obituary
Judith Koeller, 83 of Wauconda, Il. passed away peacefully at her home on November 2, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Koeller and the devoted mother to Heidi Hauschild and Betsy Samborski.
Born on June 3, 1942, in Oak Park Illinois to William and Betty Jenkins. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from College of DuPage in 1981 and received her Master of Science degree in management and organizational behavior from Illinois Benedictine College in 1996. Judith lived her life guided by her deep faith in Christ. She was married to the love of her life for 28 years. She enjoyed traveling and was able to take many memorable trips with her husband. She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan and enjoyed watching the games. Judith devoted her life caring for others through a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse. Her compassion touched countless lives. Her colleagues remember her as a mentor and friend. Her greatest joy came from the love of her family, friends, and from the faithful companionship of her dog Iggy, who rarely left her side.
Judith is survived by her daughter Betsy (Chris) Samborski, granddaughter Cassie Hauschild (fiancé Dan Froehlic), great-grandson Brendan Froelich, sister Sue (John) Elsa, brother Jeff (Kim) Jenkins, loving nieces, nephews & cousins.
Stepchildren Bruce (Kit) Koeller, Don (Barb) Koeller, Chad Koeller, Kent (Eva) Koeller, Patrica Baute. Step-grandchildren Bethany Koeller, Rachel (Mark) Sullivan, David (Bryanna) Koeller, Sara (Matt) Modrzejewski. Step-great-grandchildren Hailey & Scarlett Koeller, Heidi, Lily, Cedar Sullivan, Eli, Marek & Aurora Modrzejewski.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Koeller, her parents William and Betty Jenkins, daughter Heidi Hauschild, son-in-law Butch Hauschild, step-granddaughter Alexa Baute.
A memorial visitation will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 Noon at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.
