Judith Marie Agnes LaPlume passed away with her husband and family by her side on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home in Winchester, NH.
Judith was born on June 3, 1953 to the late Roland and Claire Becotte and shared her childhood home with her three siblings, Jeffrey, Deborah, and Nancy. She attended Lawrence High School and married Russell LaPlume. Together they spent 47 years of marriage raising eleven children and shared a love of farming and the Catholic faith.
Judith cherished her friends and family. She enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, herbology, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
She is survived by her husband, children, siblings, cousins, and many friends.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church, 80 Richmond Road, in Winchester, NH 03470. Judith will be buried at the Saint Benedict Center Cemetery in Richmond, NH.
Following her burial, all are invited to a Celebration of Judith’s life which will take place in Saint Joseph Hall at Saint Benedict Center, 95 Fay Martin Road, Richmond, NH 03470.
In lieu of flowers, Judith has requested memorial donations be made for Masses offered for the repose of her soul.
