Judith R. Markmann, 83, of Allegheny Township, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 6, 2023. She was born June 26, 1940 in Harrison Twp. to the late Daniel and Clarinda (Barnhart) Silcose. Judith lived the past 7 years in Allegheny Township and prior to that Tarentum. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Judith was an avid crafter and enjoyed woodworking. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter with whom she made her home, Mary R. Markmann and fiancé Eric Beadling; son Scot Markmann and fiancé Gloria, of Cravener; granddaughter Jessica Tobin and fiancé Thomas Baker, of New Kensington, grandsons Daniel Markmann and Nicholas Sacoulas; 3 great grandsons Thomas, Brady and Wyatt Tobin. Also surviving are her sisters Sally Confer, of Tarentum and Barbara (James) Watt, of West Deer Twp. and longtime family friends Lisa (John) Lettrick, of New Kensington. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Markmann and her siblings Carol Morrow, Mary Work and Daniel and David Silcose.
