Judith Mercado Obituary
Age 52 passed away Monday January 5, 2026, at UI Health Chicago Hospital. A resident of Plainfield. Judith is survived by her loving husband Douglas Barnes; children John Vincent N. Mercado, John Christian N. Mercado, and Jamaica Faye N. Mercado; siblings Lorna Nacario Shenshiki, Romualdo Nacario, Elvira Nacario Echavez, Josephine Nacario Dela Cruz, Miguel Nacario, and Loida Nacario Magoncia. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Services end at the funeral home, cremation rites have been accorded. Judith's cremains will be reunited with her family in her native country in the Philippines.
