Judith Annette Miracle was born on June 16, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan to parents, Mickey and Letty (Lafler) Wampler. She spent her childhood, the third of five children, in a little house filled with love in Rockwood, MI.

From a young age Judy had a heart for teaching and a deep desire to serve God. This led her, at the age of seventeen, to enter the Dominican Sisters of Adrian, attending Siena Heights University where she earned her degree in Teaching. At the age of nineteen, as Sister Elizabeth Albert, she taught her first class of 50 First Graders to read and write. During her 40-year teaching career she not only taught 100’s of children to read, but also about the love of Jesus.

At the age of twenty-three, Judy felt led by the Lord to leave the Dominican Sisterhood. Two years later she met her future husband, Duane Miracle. They married in June of 1967 and began their life together, raising a family of three children, Lisa, Joe, and Mick.

Judy was devoted to serving God all her life, especially through intercessory prayer. When she was not teaching, you could often find her on the phone, praying with a person in need, or holding prayer meetings in her home. She served faithfully at her church where she was used mightily in service to others.

Judy’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, whom she encouraged with wisdom, guided with God’s word, and loved with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mickey, and Letty Wampler; brother, Marty; sisters, Dorothy (Cooke), and Letty Wampler; brother-in-law Bill Lizyness; and husband, Duane Miracle.

Judy is survived by her children: daughter Lisa Trupiano (Tom), sons, Joe Miracle and Mick Miracle (Gina); and beloved grandchildren, Andy Trupiano, Zach Miracle, Riley Miracle, Avery Miracle. She is also survived by her sister, Genevieve Lizyness, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Judy devoted her life to the Lord as a humble and faithful servant. On December 24, 2025, He called her home to heaven to receive her greatest reward. She honored her Lord, Jesus Christ above all else and left a lasting example of devotion, love, and unwavering faith. Judy’s greatest desire would be for all to know that “God is Faithful.”
