Judith Moskowitz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beth Israel Memorial Chapel - Delray Beach on Apr. 21, 2025.
Judith Moskowitz, 82, passed away on April 18, 2025 after struggling these last few years, months & especially weeks.
Judith was better known as Judy or Mrs. M. during her years as a teacher and coach, but most affectionately known as Meme to family and friends once she became a grandmother.
Judy passed surrounded by her 3 daughters, Michaeleen (Glenn) Bradley of St. Croix, Dawn (Vlad) Gawlikowski of Florida and Becky Moskowitz of Florida. She also had a stepdaughter Holly (Scott) Boldt of New Jersey and stepson Steven Moskowitz of California. She cherished her time spent with her loving grandchildren, Michelle (Josh) Chelgren of North Carolina, Stacy Hoblit (Zach Early) of North Carolina, Steffan Gawlikowski of Florida, Corydon Gawlikowski (Sandra Denker) of Florida, Trevor Gawlikowski of Florida, Michael Boldt of New Jersey and Thomas (Sara) Boldt of New Jersey.
Judy is also survived by her beloved sister, Maureen Lemongelli of Missouri.
Born in NJ, Judy taught at Sayreville Board of Education for over 30 years and coached numerous sports. Over the last few weeks previous students have reached out about how much their lives were touched and how much of an inspiration she was to them all.
She also delivered newspapers and worked at Pathmark Supermarkets, among other jobs to help give her kids a great life and shape them into the wonderful daughters they are now.
Judy retired to FL where she lived her dream of sitting on the beach and taking her grandkids to Disney World. She eventually found herself bored of just sitting around and went back to teaching for the Diocese of PB where she taught for 10+ years before retiring once more. She spent the last 4 years in NC but missed the warm weather and passed here in Florida just a month after moving back.
She is now reunited with her husband Michael Moskowitz, her mom and dad Michael and Margaret Homsack, her brothers Michael (Yogi) Homsack and Michael (Mike) Homsack, as well as many other family, friends & animals that all welcomed her to paradise!!!
She probably immediately asked to play BINGO or cards and I'm sure she wants to make a puzzle. She already knows who won all the tv shows we watched together so that's not really fair but I guess I'll have to let it slide till I see her her again!
Donations can be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ which kept her alive all these years or her favorite charity of St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
