Judith Carolyn Oswald (nee Fromm), Age 74, of Mount Prospect, Illinois, passed away on June 23, 2025, surrounded by loving family.

Judy was born January 14, 1951 in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of Clifford Fromm and Dorothy Fromm (nee Granow).

Judy was raised in Skokie, Illinois where she attended Niles North High School before moving to Glenview, Illinois where she graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 1969. She earned her teaching degree from National College of Education in 1972. She taught elementary school in Bensenville, Illinois then went on to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois.

Judy met her husband, Terry, in High School. They dated for 6 years before marrying on August 4, 1973, in Glenview, Illinois. In 2023 they celebrated their 50th anniversary with numerous friends and family.

Judy especially loved spending time with family. She spent many days attending her grandsons' band concerts and sporting events. She also enjoyed cross stitching, puzzles and testing her vast knowledge while watching game shows. She found peace and relaxation at their lake home in the North Woods of Wisconsin. Judy and Terry recently traveled with family to Europe for a wonderful river cruise.

Judy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenview and St. Peter's Church in Northbrook. She was an active member of the choir and loved to sing.

Remaining to cherish Judy's memory are spouse, Terry; children, Michael (Brooke) and Mathew (Andrea); grandchildren, Luke, Drew, James and Kevin. Brother, Jim Fromm (Janice); sister, Carol Carlson (Rick); Godchildren, Nick Fromm, Dan Griffin, Lynsey Kimmins, and Tim Carlson as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Preceding Judy in death are Father, Clifford Fromm; Mother, Dorothy Fromm (nee Granow), cousin Kenneth Gauger; Father-in-law Michael Oswald and Mother-in-law Betty Oswald (nee Preis).
