From time to time online I search for old friends and was shocked and so sad to see the obituary and learn of Judy's death. My heart goes out to Whitney, Sarah, Kara, and Ashley for your loss. I loved your Mom so much. We were good friends in college, room mates in New York, when she met your Dad and we had many good memories of those times. I have often regretted we lost touch in later years when we both got busy with careers and raising kids. She was a warm and caring person with a great sense of humor and a surprising inner strength.

I was so sorry to hear of Judy's illness and death. Although we did not keep in touch much after she moved from Marshall to Little Rock, I remember her very fondly as one of the best all-around people I knew--excluding athletics which we both seemed to avoid. She was kind, friendly, positive, adventurous, intelligent, and knowledgeable for her age. It was fun to know her.

Judy and I met in Jr High and remained friends until her death. She was a very lovely and sweet friend. We were able to visit several times in recent years on St Simmons Island and in Jacksonville. We shared a deep love of Christ and Healing Ministry. Girls, I met you all once during a St Simmon visit. Your Mom cherished you all.

Judy was a friend from high school. Judy and I were members of the "Lost" class of 1959 when the Little Rock schools closed. Many of us were separated then, not to be able to visit again. Judy was a beautiful, sweet and caring young woman then and I am sure remained so. I send my condolences and prayers to her family. Peace be to God. Judy Coxon Young
