I am so sad to learn the news of Judy. She was one of my parent's best friends when we lived in Liberia, West Africa. They met when she used to fly there with Pan Am and my father was stationed locally with Pan Am. She saw me grow up from a tiny tot through my teenage years and we continued our friendship on through my marriage and children. She had a lovely, caring, and fun-loving personality that I'll always remember. Rest in Peace beautiful Judy, you were a rare treasure.
Love you, xoxoxo

I was so sad to read about Judy. We were in the same PanAm stewardess training class in Miami in March 1967. We were the only 2 that stayed on and didn't leave early. Strangely we didn't fly together very often, but always shared the bond of being newbies' all those years ago.

I am devastated about seeing this through the Manhattan World Wings Chapter. I was trying to keep up with Judy through dear friends of hers who live where I do. I had planned to spend so much time with Judy as we would both be in TN. Before I moved she said she would meet me to look for houses. This breaks my heart. I don't know anyone who knew Judy who didn't love her. She was so kind, so sensitive, so thoughtful and so much FUN! I saw her
last year at the World Wings Convention in San Diego and we just fell into each others arms. I flew with Judy month after month to Rome when the 747 first came out. She was so supportive about my move to Memphis to be near family and we had so much planned to do so much together. I can only say I am so so sad. We grew up and grew old together. I had hoped for so many more years. Terrible loss.

Judy was one of my favorite people at Pan Am. She always had a smile and a good word to say on any subject. I saw her last at the World Wings convention in San Diego and she looked as beautiful as ever. My sympathies to her family. She will be missed. Clare Christiansen
