Judith Ann Randlett Age 82 of Sandy Hook, CT passed away in her home on November 18, 2025, Judith was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island May 19,1935 to Ernest P Wood and Margaret (Norma) Philips Wood.

She went to Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, CT and graduated from Western Connecticut University with a bachelor's in teaching. She married Burton Clark in July of 1964 and lived on an American army base in Germany until 1966. On November 18, 1977, she married Stephen Randlett.

Over the years, she worked as a substitute teacher and became a program director at Kiddie Campus in Monroe, CT. Judi worked for decades at Barclay Knitwear and eventually wound up working at Boehringer Ingelheim where she met many great friends who continued to stick by her side until her last days.

Anyone who knew Judi would say she was a strong-willed woman who did not complain and kept her pain to herself. She fought to stay with us until the very end, never giving up hope, Judith was a devoted mother, step- mother and grandmother. She spent recent years traveling with family and had hoped to do so much more. Her favorite place to be Rhode Island, no matter the season. The greatest joy she had come from spending time with her many grandchildren and going on adventures with them.

She is survived by her children Teal McCann and her husband Brian; Burton Clark and his wife Kelly; Christopher Clark; Douglas Randlett and his wife Sarah Judi is also survived by her step-children; Michael Randlett and Karyn Randlett and her grandchildren: Chelsey McCann, Alexander McCann, Bailey McCann, Dylan McCann, Hayley Clark-Wilson, Kendall Allanach, Cassidy Randlett, Adam Randlett, Rebecca Randlett, Kelly Gregoire, Allison Lucas and Tori Viavoda. She also has many devoted cousins and wonderful friends who all miss her dearly.

We would like to extend a special thank you to her dearest friend, Gail Svensson, for everything she did to support our mother in the last years and throughout their friendship.

She is predeceased by her parents; Ernest & Norma Wood, her brother Roger Wood, her ex-husband Burton Clark, her husband Stephen Randlett and step- daughter Robin Randlett.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 17th, 2026, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown, CT. at 10:30 am. All are welcome. Judi will be put to rest in a private ceremony at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, CT in the spring.

Thanks to Judi our families had years of fun memorable Christmas at her house! She gave us beautiful traditions. And spoiled us wonderfully with all the Christmas gifts and adventure experiences for the grandchildren. Additionally all those fun summers at Point Judith RI! We keep these special memories in our hearts. Judi will be greatly missed! God bless her. This special lady fought hard to the end. May she rest in peace in her final home with the Lord

Judi was such a wonderful friend who when I ran the March of Dines walk for Boehringer was by my side the day of along with John & Lenny helping me out. We´ve kept in touch & I was devastated when she told me what was wrong with her. I miss every day but grateful she´s not suffering any more. Hod bless you Judi.
