Judith Carol "Judy" Snow Moon

Judith "Judy" Snow Moon, age 81, of Rainbow City, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. Dr. Chris Terrell will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. The family will accept friends from 5PM to 8PM at the funeral home on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Mrs. Moon was a woman of faith. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. Judy was very active in her senior clubs such as the Eastern Star, the Red Hat Society, and Smile Awhile Group. She had a passion for cooking, especially cooking for others. Growing orchids and watching birds come to her bird feeders brought her much joy. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moon.
Judy is survived by her children, Amber E. (Charles W.) Olson, and Gordon Moon; grandchildren, Chelsea Elizabeth Olson, Emilee Marie Olson, Erin Nicole (Cody) Bertoglio, and Mason Moon; sisters, Bobbie Lackey and Emily Dearman; and cat, Copper.
Pallbearers will be Charles Olson, Terry Dearman, Cody Bertoglio, Mason Moon, David Fry, and Brian Winningham.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the medical staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
