Judith Ann Taylor, affectionately known as Judy, was born on October 7, 1942, in Canton, Illinois, to Perry and Alnedia Ruth Duncan.

Judy's journey took her from her early years in Illinois to Greeley, Colorado, where her father opened a grocery store—a place that would become a cherished part of her childhood. She graduated from high school in Greeley, Colorado laying the foundation for a life filled with love and creativity.

Throughout her career, Judy dedicated herself to the field of accounting, working for various businesses with diligence and grace. On June 26, 1982, she married her beloved husband, Thomas T. Taylor, who preceded her in 2011. Their bond was a testament to love that lasts a lifetime, and Judy carried the memories of their life together close to her heart.

Judy's passions extended beyond her profession; she found joy in community theater, gracing the stage in numerous productions at the Aurora Fox Arts Theater. Her artistic spirit thrived in many forms—whether it was knitting, reading, or exploring ceramics. In her later years, she discovered the therapeutic joy of adult coloring books, showcasing her talent by winning a ribbon for one of her masterpieces while in the nursing home.

Judy leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that echoes through the memories of her loved ones. She is survived by her dear surviving aunt, Kathryn Root, and numerous cousins, including Carol Welch, Any Williams, and Sally Sonneman. The imprint Judy left on their lives is a reminder of a life well-lived—one that will be forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we reflect on Judy's vibrant spirit, let us celebrate the joy she brought into the world and carry forward her legacy of love and creativity.
