In Loving Memory of Judith Todman
August 20, 1949 – October 2, 2025
It is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judith Todman, who entered eternal rest on October 2, 2025, at her home on 2325 Morris Avenue in the Bronx, New York, at the age of 76.
Born on August 20, 1949, at Harlem Hospital, 100 West 139th Street, New York City, Judith was the beloved daughter of Joyce Clyne and Elmesto Todman. She was raised in the heart of Harlem, where her vibrant personality and love for community began to shine.
Judith was a devoted and loving mother to Frank David Fuller, John Willard Fuller, and Walter Andre Cummings, and the proud grandmother of Lucas Cummings. Her sons Frank and John both proudly served their country as Army Veterans, and Walter continues her legacy of dedication through his work as an IT Specialist.
She is predeceased by her dear sister, Jennifer Sanchez, and is lovingly remembered by her niece, Lucita Sanchez; her cousin Joycee, who lovingly sent herbal teas from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and her cousin Franklin Julius.
A woman of great faith, Judith was a Christian Baptist who found joy in worship and fellowship. Her faith guided her life and inspired those around her. She loved music, art, traveling, entertainment, good food, and fashion - a true fashionista and life of the party whose spirit lifted every room she entered.
Judith's talents extended beyond her work in housekeeping, where she approached every task with dedication and pride. Her passion for writing and penmanship, honed during her high school years, reflected her thoughtful and expressive nature. She was active in community events through the Argus Community, where she also formed meaningful friendships that brought her joy and support.
She shared close bonds with dear friends who became family: Florentino - a devoted family friend who was always good to her; Ms. Romy Martin of the Argus Community - who enriched Judith's life daily and introduced her to watching church services on her smartphone; and Boyd - a lifelong friend from the streets of Harlem.
Judith also leaves behind her faithful companion, Jasper, her loving kitty cat since 2012 - now 13 years old - who brought her comfort and laughter for over a decade.
A visitation will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home, Inc., 5044 Broadway, New York, NY 10034, on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will follow at the same location from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friends and family may visit riverdalefuneralhome.com for additional details, livestream options, or to share condolences.
Judith will be remembered as a woman of deep faith, kindness, and joy - a mother, grandmother, and friend whose radiant light touched every soul she met. Her laughter, warmth, and faith will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you." - Psalm 63:3 (NIV)
