Judy loved South Hadley and she wrote several terrific pieces about the town, in several places. She always had a smile and a "Hello," and I always enjoyed seeing her at the Firehouse Museum or elsewhere. It is nice to see Lesley Visser's note here, another good old friend of Judy's and many others in town.

Lesley Visser

I had the privilege and joy of working with Judy at the Boston Globe. We used to laugh with surprise and delight that two kids from South Hadley made it to the renowned Globe Sports section. She will be dearly missed. Lesley Visser, SHHS `71.
