Judith Ann (Carey) Weber, passed away peacefully Monday Dec. 15, 2025 at Oakwood Heights Village with her children by her side.
Born Feb. 2, 1939 in
Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late George R. (Boog) and Treva V. (Baker) Carey
Judy grew up in a loving family on the east side of Oil City. She had a younger sister, Sandra S. (Carey) Dick, who just passed two months ago on Oct. 12, 2025.
Judy enjoyed the water and loved swimming. She spent a lot of her younger years walking or riding her bike from the eastside to the Oil City swimming pool to meet her friend Barb , and would spend all day there.
She also had good memories of summer days spent at her aunt and uncles cottage in Henry's Bend.
She loved country music and would travel to Ponderosa Park to see her favorite country stars, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and George Jones.
Judy married Robert Weber in April of 1981. He preceded her in death in Sept. of 1997.
They enjoyed 16 years of marriage together. They enjoyed many trips over the years to
York, PA., spending time with Bob's aunt and uncle, who she dearly loved.
Judy worked for many years in the medical records dept. at the Oil City Hospital retiring in 1999.
She met many people over the years and maintained friendships with many and shared good times and laughter. She was fondly known as Jude .
Judy was the proud mother of two children
Christopher McLaughlin of Oil City
Lori McLaughlin Ray and her husband Roger of Franklin
She was blessed with two wonderful grandsons,
Easton (Kara) Ray of Union City
And their children Nevaeh, and Jase whom she loved dearly
And Noah Ray of
York, PA.
They all were the joy of her life. She had many good memories and laughter of time spent at the family camp in Mayburg around the campfire.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister and a special aunt Betty Porter.
In addition to her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, she is survived by special aunt Emma Benson and her cousins Vicki Porter, Sherry Miller and Larry and Terry Benson( Peg).
Judy will be remembered for her devotion to her children and grandchildren and for her love of all animals, especially her dogs, Max, Foxxy and Barney and her parakeet Wimpy.
She was also a great cook, especially her pot roast which she tried to teach her daughter how to replicate
The family is grateful to many wonderful caregivers at Oakwood, especially Lori, Austin, Alexis, Missy, Jackie, Tina, Grace, Jen, Wendy, Shelly and Barb. She had two wonderful roommates, Betty and Shirley and many other Oakwood friends (Connie) that brought her joy in the years she sent there.
She would be blessed with memorial donations to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 S. Main St., Seneca, PA. 16346
Private funeral services will be held at the Reinsel Funeral Home
Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
