Judson V. Hetrick

Judson V. Hetrick, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, teacher and devoted man of faith, passed away surrounded by family at his home. He was born October 23, 1930, to Emma (Vickland) and Francis Hetrick in Warren, Pennsylvania. Fondly referred to as "Jud," he was known for his gentle spirit, steady leadership, and unwavering dedication to service. Jud touched countless lives throughout his long and meaningful life.

After high school he went to Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he graduated, an achievement he carried with quiet pride. A proud Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Jud served his country honorably in the United States Army.

In 1954, Jud married the love of his life, Hazel Creel. Together they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. They built a family by raising and adoring their three daughters Lynda, Virginia, and Constance. They filled their years together marked by faith, family, and deep devotion to one another.

Jud an active member of First Assembly Ministries and faithfully served in various roles throughout his life. He taught the majority of his career at Pasco High School where he retired after 28 years. He wore many hats as an educator, including Sunday School, served as a church deacon at both Main Street and Carpenter's Home churches, and with Hazel established "Nurses for Christ" as a general administrator. He also served as the sponsor for "Youth for Christ" at Pasco High School, mentoring young people and guiding them in faith.

He loved reading, traveling, and spending time with his family. His gentle wisdom, warm presence, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Hazel preceded him in death, and their reunion in eternity brings comfort to those who loved them both.

Jud is survived by his three daughters, Lynda H. Wilkinson (Mike), Virginia H. Jordan (Gary), and Connie Hetrick. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jeremy Daniels (Julia) and Genavieve Reidinger (Davin), and four great-grandchildren: Elyssa Daniels, Milena Daniels, Sophia Daniels, and Ogden Daniels.

A Visitation will be held at FAM Church on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 1:00–2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.

His legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to live on through his family and the many people whose lives he touched.
