Judy Ann Brewer Murray, 77, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Thursday, September 19, 2024. She was born in Alamance County to the late Walter David Brewer and the late Martha Ruth Brewer Wilson. Judy was married for 58 years to Jerry Lee Murray who survives.
Judy was formerly employed by the Post Office, Wendy’s and JR’s. She enjoyed cooking when the family got together, especially for the holidays. Judy also enjoyed flowers, watching birds and always had bird feeders at home so she could watch them. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who truly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Murray; sons, Jimmy Murray and his wife Marina, Jody Murray and Jay Murray; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Leslie “Pete” Brewer.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2024 by Pastor Steve Loy with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
