Judy Carol Brande Bingham

Judy Carol Brande Bingham, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Corrie Brande and was married for 58 years to her husband, Dwight McCoy "Mack" Bingham, who survives.

Judy was a devoted member of Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 20 years, was in charge of crafts for Vacation Bible School and the annual Christmas play. She worked in the mail room for Western Electric for many years until her son was born and she found her true calling in becoming a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She was born in the city but enjoyed country living, including helping her husband grow and harvest tobacco.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dwight McCoy "Mack" Bingham; son, Mark Bingham, brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Priscilla Brande of Greensboro; niece and nephew, Phyllis Hill and Phillip Bande; great niece and nephew, Aurora and Quinn Brande; as well as numerous cousins.

Funeral services were held, July 23, 2022 at Kerr's Chapal Baptist Church by Rev. Paul Traywick with the burial following in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 12:00 - 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church and other time at the residence.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Premier Home Health Care as well as Community Hospice for their love and care for Judy.
