Judy M. Bryant, 73, of Newbern, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her residence. Born August 31, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Goad and Maudie Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Chaplain Brent Pearce with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Jeremy Asher, Chad Asher, Shane Hinson, D.J. Walls, Larry Patton, Josh Phillips, Josh Ray and Jeremy Ray will serve as pallbearers.
She is survived by three daughters, Tina Darlene Patton of Newbern, Juanita Hope Patton and Vickie Monette Lumley (Keith), both of Dyersburg; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Asher (Brandi), Chad Asher (Tennie), Shane Hinson (Jessica), Larry Patton (Mary Beth), Joshua Phillips, Jessica Ann Phillips, Heather Braden (J.W.), D.J. Walls (Shelby), Santana Price (Jesse); twenty-eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Nona Irving of Newbern, Cynthia Brown (David), Tanna Wermes, both of Dyersburg, Wendy Masterson of Arkansas; and two brothers, Tony Goad of Dyersburg and Billy Cupples of Las Vegas, NV.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bryant; one sister, Wanda Petti and one brother, Jerry Cupples.
