Judy Conkin Obituary

KINGSPORT - Judy Conkin, 83, of Kingsport, passed away, Sunday, November 2, 2025. Judy was born to the late Jack and Nora Morrison. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church for 34+ years and later attended The Remnant Church in Kingsport.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy Morrison and Ralph Morrison; sister, Gladys Reed; niece, Teresa Morrison Aesque; nephew, Tony Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Dana Conkin; daughter, Kristi Blair and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Jacob Stapleton (Kayla) and Jordan Stapleton (Amber), and Josie Stapleton; step-grandchildren, Ashleigh Salyer (Zach) and Hannah Dean (Ethan); nieces, Vicki Morrison Patton (Kenny) and Diane Morrison Woodard; nephews, Tim Reed (Penny), and Jack Morrison.
The family will receive friends, Friday, November 7, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tony Crisp officiating. Entombment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Hawkins County, 5180 US-11W, Rogersville, TN 37857.

little girl. Judy was a very fine lady & a great friend. My thoughts & prayers are
