LINCOLN – Judy M. Davis, 77, of Lincoln, died Monday, November 27, 2023, surrounded by her family at CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln.
Judy chose to be cremated with no formal services at this time.
Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
Judy was born on May 14, 1946, in Kearney, the daughter of Eugene J. and Mary Elaine (McEntee) O'Neill.
She grew up in St. Libory where she received her early education and graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic High School.
She was united in marriage to Bill Vejvoda and the couple first lived in San Diego while Bill served in the U.S. Navy. They later returned to Grand Island, where they raised their two sons, Scott and Mark.
She was united in marriage to Bob Davis and the couple lived in Lincoln. Judy worked as a secretary for the U.S. Air Force Flight Recruiters in Lincoln for a number of years.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Vejvoda of Melbourne, FL and Mark Vejvoda of Lincoln; one grandson, Sean Vejvoda of Mebane, NC; fiancé, Jim Drinkwalter of Lincoln; siblings and spouses, Rosemary Dickinson and fiancé, Don Davis of Grand Island, Maureen and Wally Adams of Grand Island, Mary Ann and Jim Donoghue of Columbus, Dan O'Neill of Grand Island, Tim and Jeanette O'Neill of Grand Island and Pat O'Neill of Nashville, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bill Vejvoda and Bob Davis; and sister-in-law, Dixie O'Neill.

We were so lucky to get to spend time with Judy a few years ago in Lincoln, we will always be thankful for that time together, she will be missed
