Judy Doss Obituary
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Ruth (Williamson) Ratcliffe; husband Richard "Dickie" Doss; two sons Richard Jay Doss, Jr. and Timothy Darrell Doss; three brothers Kennith Ratcliffe, Gary Ratcliffe, and Larry Joe Ratcliffe; and sister Sonja Stover.
Judy dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Known for her homecooked meals, she excelled as a homemaker and caregiver. Judy opened her home to so many, providing warmth and love to her family, friends, and to all who were lucky enough to know her.
Judy's legacy is one of pure love and devotion. Her kind and welcoming presence and loving ways will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Sunday dinners will never be the same without you Mom. She leaves behind two sons: Mark (Danielle) Doss and Jeremy (Morgan) Doss; daughters in law SueAn (Timothy) Doss and Jessica (Richard) Doss; brothers Michael (Theresa) Ratcliffe and Dave (Vickie) Ratcliffe; sister Jean Napier; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Church with Pastor Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Doss Hill Cemetery. Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Oak Grove Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given directly to the family to help offset expenses.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Doss and her family.
