Judy Sylvane Eudy, 81, of Charlotte, was called home to be with the Lord after peacefully passing away at home, Monday, February 10, 2025.

Sylvane was born October 5, 1943, to the late Sammie Lee Smith and the late Margaret Elizabeth Huneycutt Smith. She was a 1961 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School. On July 1, 1961, she married Jerry Blake Eudy at Dulin’s Grove Church in Charlotte, N.C. They had three children Sandra (Sandy), Burris, Randy Eudy and Dale “Hammer” Eudy.

Sylvane retired from Herff Jones, formerly Delmar, after 25+ years and Walmart Photo Studio after 25+ years. In her free time, she loved to play bingo with her sisters, cook and bake many of her delicious recipes, solve crossword puzzles, and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband, Jerry Blake Eudy; son, Dale "Hammer" Eudy; brother, Millard Smith; sisters Peggy Sue Warren, Kay Rogers and Jolean Blackwelder; and her beloved cat Matt Matt.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Sandy and Randy; granddaughters Carrie Rogers, Jill Rogers, Britni Carpenter, Alexis Eudy-Ketchie and Courtney Eudy; great-grandchildren Ayden Rogers, Travis Drye and Lysia Carpenter; sister Maggie Riddle; brother Wayne Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, located at 7632 Hood Rd., Charlotte NC, and officiated by Pastor Sheldon Davis.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a Humane Society.
