Judy Foster, 76 of Camden, Arkansas passed away on Friday October 24, 2025 following an illness. She was born on the Fourth of July in 1949 in Sparkman, Arkansas and fittingly, was very patriotic with a deep appreciation for the American flag and what it represents, while occasionally being a bit of a firecracker. She was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church.
Judy loved to travel, especially on cruises and spent much of her free time volunteering in the community. Her service work included the Christian Health Clinic (HUB), Hospice Care, nearly 15,000 hours as a Pink Lady at Ouachita County Hospital and also caring for numerous friends during illnesses and times of need. She valued the importance of her dear friendships. She also loved being outdoors, be it working in the yard, tending to flowers, especially her daffodils in the Spring, or on a boat ride.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Esther McDonald, son Tim Foster, grandbabies Lani, Gabriel, Brett and Noah Stiles, in-laws Corley and Bernice Foster, brother-in-law Tommy Foster, and nephew Jeff Foster.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 57 years, Danny Foster; daughter Angy Stiles (Dory); grandchildren: Allison Sumney (Dustin), Lyndon Foster, Baylea Foster, Cassidy Stiles, Cade Stiles; great grandchildren: Kara Sumney, Harry Sumney, David Sumney, Delilah Foster; sister, Genna Hargis (Leigh); nephews Alex Hargis (Shelby) and Kyle Hargis (Maddie), Ronnie McDonald, Jim Foster, Braden Foster and Patton Foster; nieces Jessica Butler (John), Emily Dockery (Kirk), Jo Hicks (Blake); great nephew Henry Hargis; brother-in-law Pat Foster (Beverly); former sister-in-law Betty Sessum (Dale); and beloved dog Sassy.
The family will receive friends Monday October 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cullendale First Baptist Church, 1850 Cash Rd SW in Camden, Arkansas with with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the new Holly Springs Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Arbor Hospice as well as friend and nurse Jane Pessa for the compassionate care and support provided.
