Judith "Judy" Elaine Griffith, 75, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, of Granbury, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Granbury.
Visitation with the family will be held from noon until 1 P.M., on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Highway 377 East in Granbury. A memorial service celebrating Judy's life will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home. A gathering will follow at the American Legion Post 491, 3409 Davis Road, in Granbury. Burial will be private.
Judy was born on January 29, 1950, in Higbee, Missouri, to the late Travis and Betty Pruitt. On July 19, 1950, Judy married Gerry Griffith and together had 2 sons, Travis and Terry. She enjoyed traveling -particularly to the North Carolina beaches and to family reunions in Higbee, Missouri. Judy also enjoyed riding motorcycles and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was a life-time Auxiliary member at the American Legion Post 491 in Granbury. Most of all, Judy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. "Judy never had a bad word to say about anyone."
Judy is survived by her husband Gerry of 55 years; her sons, Travis Lee and wife Seana Griffith and Terry Lynn and wife Autumn Griffith; grandchildren, Dalton, Deseree, Veronica, Payton, Caidyn, and Parker; great-grandchildren, Willow, Sage, Lincoln, Lilly; her sister, Lisa and husband Ronald Dodd; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Carol Armstrong and Jeanetta Roevella Armstrong.
