In Loving Memory of Judy Hall
Judith Marie Hall, a vibrant and strong woman, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Judy faced life’s challenges head-on, including her courageous battle with two types of cancer, which she tackled with the grace, humor, and tenacity that defined her life.
Born on August 6, 1944, Judy was a force to be reckoned with—a lover of life, laughter, and unapologetic authenticity. She was hard working and never knew a stranger, caring about each person she came into contact with.
Judy’s life was marked not only by her strength but also by her kindness. She was a steadfast friend, a loving mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Whether she was offering words of wisdom or a shoulder to lean on, Judy’s compassion left a mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Though cancer sought to challenge her spirit, Judy was a fighter to the very end. She met every obstacle with courage and determination, proving time and time again that she was a warrior in every sense of the word.
Judy is survived by daughter Tina (Bryan) Horn, son Steve Hall, brother Jim Duemmel, grandchildren Katlyn (Korey) Lenox, Corey (Kayla) Hall, Brandt & Layni Hall, Elizabeth Bishop, great grandchildren Maryn & Molly Lenox who will carry her memory and her legacy of love and resilience forward. She was preceded in death by parents Art and Dolores Duemmel, brother Bob Duemmel, sister Marilyn Hilsheimer, daughter Christy Mason and grandson Zachary Bishop.
Let us honor her by carrying her warmth, humor, and fighting spirit in our hearts.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Thriving Beyond Breast Cancer, an organization that helps empower, educate, and uplift women throughout their breast cancer journey.
