Judy Lorretta Jones passed away on December 27, 2025. She was born on October 4, 1953, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to Wanda Reed and Oscar “Tom” Reed. In recent years, she made her home in Logan, Utah, but spent much of her life raising her family in St. Helens, Oregon.
Judy was the glue that held her family together—the strong one everyone leaned on. She was caring, fiercely loyal, and lovingly hard-headed in the way only a true matriarch can be. Her strength, guidance, and unwavering love shaped generations.
Above all else, Judy was devoted to her family. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and she cherished every moment with her “babies.” She especially loved baking with her kids and grandkids, creating memories that will be carried on for years to come.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Lorretta Tensley and Georgia O’Shane; her grandchildren Austin Arnold, Irene Hudson, Shaunn Butler, Issac Butler, Mickael O’Shane, and Janae Tensley; and her great-grandchildren Shane Arnold, Landon Arnold, McKenna Arnold, Braxton Hudson, Paityn Hudson, and Evelyn Hudson. She is also survived by her siblings Bill Reed, Russ Reed, and Melody Reiss.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wanda Reed and Oscar “Tom” Reed; her son Robert Robertson; her daughter Mary O’Shane; her great-grandchild Lileigh Arnold; and her beloved late husband Willard “Will” Jones.
In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. Judy will be cremated, and her family will gather in the summer to hold a private ceremony and spread her ashes at the beach alongside her late husband.
Judy’s love, strength, and presence will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
