Judy Looten, 82, of Olean, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 31, 1943, to Joseph Allen and Jean (Haynes) Allen (Reu) Reynolds. On November 26, 1961, she married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Looten, and together they built a beautiful life and family on their farm in Olean.
Judy dedicated 36 years to Employment Security, where she was known for her strong work ethic. In addition to her professional career, she worked alongside Bob to help run their family farm - a place filled with hard work, laughter, and love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob; her brother, John Reynolds; brother-in-law, Clifford McKinley and her great-granddaughter, Mabel Mae Looten.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Lynda; her son, Gary (Heather); grandchildren Ryan (Morgan), Brett (Anna), Alexis, Morgan and James; and great-grandchildren Peyton, Cora, and Lyla. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce (Luke) Campbell; stepsister, Patricia (Ronnie) Carroll; sister-in-law, Lynn Reynolds; and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Janet) Looten. Several nieces and nephews.
Judy had a deep love of reading and found great joy in watching her grandchildren show livestock and grow into wonderful young adults.
Graveside Service will be Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Spring Garden Cemetery in Eugene, MO with Pastor Ken Martin officiating.
Memorials in her name are suggested to Spring Garden Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
