Judy Malkowski, 60, passed on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at home surrounded by love.

She was born in Fort Hood, TX on April 16, 1965 to James and Myong Haras. As an army brat, she moved around with her family until they settled in Clarksville, TN. After graduating college, she sought warmer weather and moved to Orlando, FL.

She met her husband, David Malkowski, while in a hashing/running club. They married June 1, 1991 and enjoyed 34 years of love and laughter together.

Judy loved volunteering. She was very giving of her time and constantly thinking of others. She exuded love to family, friends, and strangers. A social butterfly at heart, you could often catch her gabbing away with neighbors or someone in line at the grocery store.

Judy lived with an undeniable zest and desire to live life to the fullest. In her youth, she enjoyed going to the disco and dancing till the sun came up. She loved music, live and recorded, and the house was never quiet. She instilled this love in her children, bringing them to live music shows at an early age. A fan of funk and rock, some of her favorites included Prince and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Judy is survived and deeply missed by her loving husband David Malkowski; daughters, Sarah Malkowski (David Dushok) and Amy Malkowski; mother, Myong Haras; sister, Diane Nicoll (Bruce Nicoll); brothers, James (Jimmy) Haras and Davis Haras (Jillian Haras); brothers in law, John Malkowski and Steven Malkowski; sister in law, Ruth Rauenzhan; nieces, Stephanie Nicoll, Jennifer Hardwick, Jamie Wright, Anna Rauenzhan, Kyra Malkowski, Madyson Haras, and Makayla Haras; nephew, Jager Haras; and countless beloved friends and neighbors. She relished her role as Lolli to her granddaughter, Willow Dushok.

Judy is predeceased and reunited with her father, James Haras (2017).

In a final selfless act, Judy donated her body to science. As she wished, no service is planned at this time. Donations can be made in her honor to SPOHNC (Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer, https://spohnc.org/).
