Judy Faye Newman

Judy Faye Newman, 72, of Hagerhill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, after a long battle with her health.
Judy was born on March 12, 1953, to the late Mary and Lonnie Conn. She grew up in Martin, Kentucky, alongside her beloved siblings, Millard Ray Conn of Martin and Brenda Pack of Johnson County, and the late Burl Conn and Buford Conn. From a young age, Judy's vibrant personality and caring heart made her someone people naturally gravitated toward.
Judy married the late Hobert Newman, the love of her life, and affectionately referred to him as "her baby." Their bond was filled with laughter, unwavering love, and a shared devotion to family. Though Hobert passed before her, Judy carried his memory close to her heart every single day, finding comfort in knowing they would be reunited once again.
Judy is survived by her three children, Tabitha Paige, Kristie Hall, and Tyler (Adele) Newman, who will forever cherish her love and guidance. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a number of close friends who became family over the years.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandbabies, each one holding a special place in her heart. She loved listening to them laugh and play, and nothing made her happier than being surrounded by their energy and joy. In her final days, Judy lived with her son Tyler, where she was cared for with the deepest love and devotion. Even in her last hours, photos, stories, and the very mention of her grandbabies brought a bright smile to her face.
Judy was known for her kindness, her quick wit, and her love of all things glamorous. She adored shopping trips with her daughter Tabitha, never passing up a chance to find the perfect outfit or a bit of sparkle. She had a way of making ordinary days feel special and could lift spirits with just a joke, a story, or her contagious laughter.
Judy's legacy will live on in the love she poured into her family and the precious memories she created. She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.

Funeral services 1pm Saturday (November 8, 2025) at the funeral home with Nathan Lafferty Officiating. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY
