Judy Akers Thibodeaux
It is with deep love and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Akers Thibodeaux on October 14, 2025, in Milton, Florida. Born on March 20, 1948, Judy was a beloved sister, mother, nana, aunt, cousin and friend, whose life touched many over the years.
Judy was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joe Thibodeaux, and her loving parents, Cecil and Ethel Akers. She is survived by her cherished sister, Janie (Ronnie) Keeney; her beloved son, Brent (Anna) Keeney; and her treasured grandchildren, Breanna and Chance Keeney. Judy was also eagerly anticipating the addition of her future grandson-in-law, Dalton Simpler, to the family. She is further remembered by her stepsons, Fred (Holly King) Thibodeaux, Luke (Alicia) Thibodeaux, and Lance Thibodeaux, as well as her step grandsons, Clark and Joe Thibodeaux.
Throughout her life, Judy found joy in the simple pleasures - she loved sunbathing on warm days, shopping for the perfect find, and spending as much time as possible with her family. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every opportunity to be with them. Judy was also known for her strong work ethic and dedication, building a successful career in the mortgage industry where she was respected for her knowledge, determination, and professionalism.
At Judy's request, no services will be held.
