Judy Thomas Obituary
Mrs. Judy Lynne Thomas, age 66, entered into rest on Sunday evening, December 21, 2025 at her home. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 26, 2025 at Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Dr. Lindsey Powell. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Friday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home prior to the procession to the cemetery.
Born on June 6, 1959, in Sayre, PA, Judy was the daughter of the late Clarence Widrig and Wilma Rosalie Van Derpoel Piddock. Throughout her life, she dedicated many years to serving others as a certified nursing assistant. Judy had a creative spirit, enjoying crafts and home decoration, with a particular fondness for Christmas, when she would adorn her home with snowmen. Above all, her greatest joy came from her family and grandchildren, especially her cherished bond with her great-granddaughter, Aspen.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her siblings: Linda Sue Widrig, Donna Widrig, Diane God, Kevin Widrig, Bill Van Derpoel, and “Buck Wheat” Widrig.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Thomas; daughters Tami (Vernon) Murray of Cheraw, SC, and Tina (Jesse) Kisner of Wysox, PA; her son, Greg Thomas II of Philadelphia, PA; and daughter Kate (Ted) Allan of Macungie, PA. Judy is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Selena, Alyssa, Samantha, Jada, Quita, Dayvaion, Codey, Mya, Ashley, Teddy, and Wyatt; great-grandchildren Aspen, Willow, Rose, Evelyn, Hayli, Layton, Bryleigh, Kaysen, and Logan; brothers Clarence (Nancy) Widrig and Michael (Amanda) Widrig; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
