Judy was born on August 8th of 1946 to Arthur and Mary (Huff) Weber in Cold Water, Michigan.
Judy graduated from Quincy High School in 1964. After graduation, she took a bus to Washington DC and started a job working for the Pentagon. A few years went by and then she moved back to Quincy, in 1968. About 6 months later, she took up a job as a City Codes Inspector for Kansas City, MO. Judy worked there for 31 years before finally retiring.
Retirement didn't suit her well. She was "bored", so within a couple of years, she got another job at BFMA. 23 years later, Judy was still working here when she passed. She always said she wanted to work until the good Lord took her home, and that was what she did. Her BFMA friends were very close to her and considered an extended family to whom she cherished.
Judy was a very special lady with unconditional love. As a woman with a big heart, she adopted 5 children and raised them as a single mom. Michelle Howell, the late Christopher Weber, Michael Weber, Matthew Weber, and Jon Weber. Judy also loved her other foster children and loving daughter-in-law, Teresa Weber. Although not an easy task, she did this with unreserved love. And then there were the grandchildren, Ian Weber, Rheanna Baxley, Adrian Baxley, Ciera Howell, Olivia Howell, Victoria Weber, Triton Weber, and great-grandson Azekial. There were many others whom she called her grandchildren. She took the term "spoiling your grandkids" to a whole new level and loved them all.
Judy had a very special love and bond with her siblings. The late Wally Weber (Judy), David Weber (Shirl), Sandy Lindahl (Bob), Penny Fales (Lyle). One of her greatest joys in life was spending time and sharing stories with them. She always wanted to move back to Michigan to be closer to them.
Judy was such an amazing person, full of love and joy. There were so many people in her life that she called FAMILY. It would not be right to leave out those at Journey Church of Lenexa, whom she spent 40+ years with, or her nieces and nephews. Judy was a true and faithful child of God. She taught Sunday School for many years. She expressed her love for our Heavenly Father to anyone who would listen. To plant His word into someone brought joy to her heart. She was a Prayer Warrior who honestly made a difference in many lives. Her ultimate wish would be that those whom she loved and cherished would get to know Jesus and see her in heaven one day.
