Judy A. Wisely age 83 of Colchester, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb. She was born April 21, 1942 in Kewanee, Illinois, to Leslie and Marjorie Hegwood Barton. Judy was united in marriage November 7, 1964, in Annawan, Illinois to Wayne Wisely. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2007, she was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Joyce Barton.

Judy is survived by her son: Bob (Donna) Wisely, Macomb, 4 Grandchildren: Eric (Sarah Stehl, Bushnell, Teresa Stehl, Macomb, Blake (Betsy Wisely, Farmington, Evan (Bree) Wisely, Good Hope, 8 grandchildren: Dalton and Mariah Lehnhausen, Ross Stehl, Kahlan Wisely, Rowan Wisely, Lillian Wisely, Zane Wisely, and one on the way.

Judy was a Kewanee High School Graduate. She had worked at the Boss Glove factory in Kewanee, The Macomb Journal, Parts department at Lamoine Equipment in Macomb. She was the the loan officer at Western Illinois Credit Union for 20 plus years, where she retired from. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Colchester Quilting Club. She attended bible study at the Methodist Church. She also enjoyed helping out at McDonough District Hospital Gift shop, and working at the Pie and Ice Cream stand at Labor Day in Colchester. She was a co founder of the Colchester Widows Breakfast Club, served as President of the resident council at the Elms Nursing home, and was a huge supporter of West Prairie Volleyball. When Judy had time she also loved to travel locally and across the country. Most of all Judy was very proud and loved her family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester, with Rev. Melly Momo. Burial will follow the services at Forest Lawn Memory Garden's in Macomb. The family will meet with friends Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday. Memorial is to the Elms Nursing Home Activity Center. Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
