Jules, age 97, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and he graduated from Catholic High School. While in elementary school, Jules began working in his father's lawnmower repair business. After serving his country in The United States Army, during the Korean War, he returned to the lawnmower business, with his father, where he eventually became owner and operator of Fryoux's Lawnmower Service on North Street in Baton Rouge, until retiring in 1995; and in 2000, he moved to Frost, LA.
Jules is survived by his sister, Beverly Fryoux Jackson; ten nieces and sixteen nephews.
Jules is preceded in death by his parents, Jules A. Fryoux, and Edith Paille Fryoux; sisters and spouses, Doris Fryoux, Billie F. Kuylen, Katherine F. (Bentley) Mackay, Clothilde F. (Earl) Knight, Edith F. (Joseph) Boudreaux, Joyce F. (Aubry) Jackson, and brother-in-law, Zalvia B. Jackson; one brother, Arthur Guy Fryoux and his spouse Alice Faye Sandifer Fryoux; along with one niece and four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations please be made to either Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, or to your own church or favorite charity.
