Jules Paul Lacoste

Jules Paul Lacoste passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011, age 87. He was born on June 1, 1924 in New Orleans, LA to the late Paul Lacoste and Rose (Will) Lacoste. Husband of the late Laura Bonnette Lacoste. He is survived by his companion Angela Sellen, daughter, Robin Lacoste Sherer, son in law, Tom Sherer, granddaughters, Morgan Lacoste Sherer and Camille Laura Sherer, and step brother, Ray Lacoste. Preceded in death by his brother Eugene "Buddy" Lacoste. He served as a Combat Engineer for the United States Army in WWII, where he received two Purple Hearts. He retired 1985 from New Orleans Public Service where he worked as a drafting supervisor. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124), on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
