Julia Flores

Beloved mother of 20 children and a devout Catholic, Julia Flores 92 of Ralls passed away peacefully Saturday December 6, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. Julia was born July 30, 1933, in Lockhart, Texas to Ermogenes and Josefina Cruz Rodriguez. She married Antonio B. Flores on July 23, 1950, in Lockhart, Texas. He passed away on June 5, 2007. Julia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family, creating a home filled with love, warmth, and care. She also spent many years nurturing and caring for the children of others in her hometown. A proud Guadalupana at St. Michael Catholic Church, she cherished her faith and loved her Lord deeply. She faithfully prayed the rosary each day and lived a life firmly rooted in profound prayer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children, Virginia Rendon, and Alexander Flores, two brothers Victor Rodriguez, Joaquin Rodriguez, and a sister Simona Rodriguez.

Those left to cherish her memory are twelve daughters; Dora Rendon, Marti Fountain, Diana Garlock, Mary Flores, Susie Taylor, Eve Grikis, Lorrie Graham, Josie Tejada, Alice Mata, Veronica Muhlenkamp, Mercedes Flores, Isabel Castillo, six sons, Tony Flores, Joe Luis Flores, George Flores, Carlos Flores, Paul Flores, Adam Flores, six sisters and two brothers, 53 Grandchildren, 64 great- grandchildren, 27 great-great grandchildren.
