As a child I was in Groppelli's Market very often. they were very kind and generous family that extended credit to people when they couldn't buy groceries. I am very sorry for your loss.

Sorry about the loss of your mother, Carol. We always loved seeing your mom's smiling face at the nursing home, when we had our church service there. She will be greatly missed especially by all the kids we brought with us.

I remember so well the trips down the Norwich-Westerly Road on Sunday afternoons to visit Uncle John and Aunt Julie. She was always such a sweetheart and now she is a saint with Nannie, Pa, Anna, and all those of her family who have gone before her.

Julia was truly an inspiration.

So sad to hear of Mrs. Groppelli's passing. Such wonderful memories of going to the store for penny candy and grinders. My sympathy to your family.

Nana was the sweetest and I know I speak for all of us who worked with Maria, we loved it when she came in and had to sit on her pillow so she could get her head in the sink!! Just one of many great memories. She will be missed.
