I always loved hearing her stories and her poems. We shared many pictures of nature. Those, along with her kind, loving heart are just a few things I loved and am going to miss about her. No matter how difficult the situation, she found something positive about it. I am who I am because of her.
My favorite stories she has told me from my childhood include that song she used to sing to me when we were hanging out, "going bye bye with your grandma" and the Nemo bed time book. She used to read this book to me to go to sleep. Well after some time, I still didn´t know how to read but I knew the story from the pictures, and I would read her to sleep!
Every time I would see an old barn, I would want to stop and take a picture for her. Every time I seen a red cardinal I would think of her because she believed it was our loved ones and guardian angels coming to visit. Her red cardinal was always Pa Toni. My red cardinal is her. I will forever miss her and carry her in my heart.

I knew Carol as a kind heart & generous soul. More recently I was captivated by her skills with her camera. Her pictures of ordinary objects spoke of the great beauty of God´s love present everywhere. Carol, you are now home with God completely. Thank you for the joy & light you shared with me while you were here. May your family cherish every blessing they received and hold it close in their hearts. Peace

Julia was one of the medical assistants at our family medicine residency and was always there with a smile when I got to work. She had this insight into people and could always tell when I was exhausted, stressed out or upset and was always encouraging me to press on. She also universally knew how to navigate our office as she was so very experienced. I appreciated her kindness and friendly manners and was surprised to hear about how her health had taken such a significant turn for the worse over the last 10 years. I wish she had been granted another 10 years on this planet - she certainly deserved it from how much she helped others. There must be a need of a friendly kind sole in heaven. She will be missed.
