MS. JULIA MAE IVEY JORDAN, age 75, of 50 Hubert Street, Warrenton, GA passed on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her residence. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
A native of Warrenton Georgia, Mrs. Julia Mae Jordan was born on July 15,1950, to Velma Neal and Richard Jones. She departed her life on December 7, 2025, in the comfort of her home. Julia joined Thankful Baptist Church of Gibson, GA several years ago. She was a faithful member until her health failed her. Julia was known for her great cooking. Julia also devoted 34 plus years of service to the Georgia Board of Transportation department as a school bus driver.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death in death by her mother, Velma Neal; her father, Richard Jones; stepfather, Benjamin Neal; one daughter, Tyleasha Turner; one grandson, Terrence Turner; two sisters, Marion Harris and Mary Bell; five brothers, Alexander Ivey, Michael Ivey, James Kendricks, Jessie Kendricks and Morris Simpkins.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: one daughter, Christina Jordan (Joseph) of Warrenton, GA; one son, Jeff Roberts of Augusta, GA; three stepdaughters, Chiquita Freeman, Teresa Jordan and Tyran Freeman, all of Wrens, GA; one stepson, Dedrick Jordan all of Wrens, GA; two grand daughters, Tenija Turner and Tadasia Johnson; four sisters, Evelyn Crowder (Eugene) of Tennille, GA, Ruby Lane of Mitchell, GA, Dorothy Parham and Sallie Baker, both of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, AC Ivey (Christine) of Gibson, GA, Jerry Ivey (Lucille) of Warrenton, GA and Eddie B, Kendricks (Dorothy) of Thomson, GA; a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
