Julia Meade

Though I knew her briefly in the 70's she made quite an impression.

My late husband, Charles Fetter, spoke often of Julia, Caroline, and Alice. I am so sorry to hear that she has left us. My condolences to Caroline and Alice at the loss of their mother.

Although our lives parted in recent years, we will always relish the happy times spent in Julia's company. We met backstage working our butts off to help stage the annual Superskates Olympic Skating fundraiser at Madison Square Garden. And then became part of her extended family, included in many happy hours and special holidays in the company of her and Rudd, Caroline and Alice at 1010 5th and My Ocean in Ogunquit. And at our modest digs in Southampton. Julia was not too enamored of pink Lincolns to avail herself our our modest Chevvy to make frequent trips from Manhattan to Ogunquit. Lost in all the tributes and press notices is the fact that Julia was one of the most thoughtful hostesses and accomplished chefs going. We will always cherish those memories and hope our recollection will ring a happy bell with Caroline, Alice and Brooksie.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

A name is better than good oil,and the day of death then the day of one's being born. Julia certainly made for herself,the life she lived will be cherished by all whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed. May you look to our heavenly father for comfort and strength to endure.

My sincerest sympathy for the loss of your dear Mother. May your cherished memories help to comfort your hearts, and may the words of "Job" recorded in Job chapter 14:14: If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait,Until my relief comes", bring joy of hearts during times of sorrow now and in days ahead.

I'm sorry for your loss. The Creator himself promises: "From the hand of Sheol [the common grave] I shall redeem them; from death I shall recover them. Where are yours stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Sheol?" (Hosea 13:14)

I am very sorry to friends and family for the loss.she will be surely missed. Soon there will come a time where we will never have to grieve the loss of a loved ones again.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Losing someone we love is nothing easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part of the life of that person, we can realize that we are blessed to have been able to share in their life before they went to rest. My sincere condolences.

As a child of 1950's television, I very well remember Julia Meade but to be honest, I hd forgotten about her in recent years. My condolences to her family. I remember her as a lady and someone I admired. Reat In Peace.
