Julia Mims went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, child and husband. She is survived by her son, Dale Mims (Melissa); four grandchildren, Austin Mims, Abigail Mims, Jackson Mims, and Brittany Brown (Joe); great-grandchild, Camerin Rigdon; and two sisters, Barbara Albritton (Tommy) of Scott Depot, West Virginia and Cathy Kuhne of Tallahassee, Florida.
Viewing will be at Allen and Allen Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Chapel on Friday, October 10th from 5:00-7:00 PM. Service will be at Faith Baptist Church in Thomasville on Saturday, October 11th at 2:00 PM, with the Reverends Kevin Odom and Danny Thomas officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens beside her loving husband, Charles.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation.
